We were all smiles behind our masks as the City of Cedar Rapids helped to celebrate our 50th anniversary with a Proclamation. The special moment took place during the Aug. 24 Council meeting, acknowledging our school’s legacy of educating children in an authentic Montessori environment.
CVMS Board President Stephanie Tucker and Board member Emily Anderson joined with Head of School Marcia Hughes to accept the proclamation from Councilperson Ann Poe. Students Tucker and Lucy joined in, along with staff members Ms. Hala, Ms. Dawn, Ms. Ashley, Ms. Lanessa and Ms. Amber.
