Community is the foundation of CVMS and family involvement is a cornerstone of our preschool and early childhood educational institution's success. When a child's home life mirrors the Montessori philosophy that is instilled at CVMS, the child establishes a clear routine and finds comfort in the similarities between home and school. Our faculty and staff are commited to helping our families bring Montessori principles into their homes and clearly articulate the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori in a way that encourages social, emotional, and physical growth in our young students. 

Current parents and prospective families have the opportunity to be involved with CVMS at a level with which they are comfortable. A few of the options include:

• Volunteering opportunities for those family members who would like the opportunity to step inside the classroom and assist with reading, lunch or field trips! The CVMS Volunteer page has all of the schools current opportunities! (Note: all CVMS volunteers must undergo a background check and finger printing). 
• Do you have questions about the Montessori method of education or parenting in general? The Resources page has in-depth information from the leading Montessori associations, many of which CVMS is a member. 
• Keeping in touch with your child's former or current teacher. Feel free to reach out to our talented faculty and staff. They love to chat with family members about curriculum, their child's development, and what they are doing in the classroom.
