Ms. Candace named as national Montessori 'fellow'

Stacy Cataldo, Head of School, on behalf of the Board of Directors and the staff at CVMS, is proud to announce that Candace Reed, Lead Directress in the Willow Room, has been selected for the American Montessori Society’s Emerging Leaders Fellowship Program.

Candace was selected as one of 16 Emerging Leaders Fellows in the entire nation. The AMS Emerging Leaders Fellows program is a professional development initiative designed to nurture the next generation of individuals highly qualified to assume leadership positions in the national Montessori community. Beginning in 2019, Candace will participate in a year of structured learning and networking opportunities with a diverse cohort of fellows.

“Candace’s humility is one of her endearing qualities,” says Ms. Cataldo. “For years many of us have watched her grow…quietly, privately, and always for the betterment of the children and families of CVMS. It is an honor to work along side her and we congratulate her on this tremendous opportunity and accomplishment.”
