Ms. Nicole
Lead Directress | Oak Room
“Imagination does not become great until human beings, given the courage, use it to create.” -- Dr. Maria Montessori
Nicole joined the faculty of Cedar Valley Montessori School in 2016. She currently serves as Lead Directress in the Oak Room. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Education from the University of Northern Iowa. Previously she has taught at St. Paul’s Parent’s Day Out and served as the Volunteer Coordinator at Westfield Elementary.
"As a teacher, it is enlightening to watch children in the classroom use their imagination," says Ms Nicole. "Children are curious about the world around them and their imagination encourages learning and exploration. I feel this is particularly evident when children are using the art area because art is an important way for children to express themselves."
