Sara Kohl joined the Cedar Valley Montessori School faculty in 2016. She is currently a Lead Directress in the Bonsai Room. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with endorsement in Pre-K through Third grade with Special Education (Unified Endorsement) from Mount Mercy University. She has previously taught at the Guadalupe Head Start/Council for the Spanish Speaking school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and in the Cedar Rapids Public Schools’ Grant Early Childhood Center.

"The enthusiasm to learn and explore and the innocence that our children see the world through gives me great hope in our future generations."
In her free time, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, and their four children.
