Amber has been with CVMS since 2013. She currently serves as a Lead Directress in the Willow Room. She previously served as a Bonsai Room Lead Directress.
She holds an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Kirkwood Community College. Ms. Amber’s favorite thing about teaching at Cedar Valley Montessori is “watching children grow during the three-year cycle, and the difference Montessori teaching makes for a lifelong love of learning.”
"I believe as an early childhood educator my job is not to simply fill children with facts, but rather to help stir up inside the life long love of learning, so they can go along their own individual paths," she says.
Ms. Amber enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and three children, and attends as many hockey games as possible.
